I am sorry that this email is coming two weeks after the Ironman 70.3 Muskoka, but I have worked hard to unplug for a bit as I have traveled over in Europe. This years events, the 5150/sprint and 70.3, brought over 3500 athletes and an estimated 11000 spectators to our area from around the globe. I just wanted to say thank you very much for supporting us with the generous donation of you letting us use your trucks for the event…they were put to good use! Your support of our not for profit organization that is made up solely of volunteers that are passionate about our community and our area, was tremendously appreciated.
Without your support, we would not be able to host these prestigious events I our community. These races are known as one of, in not the, toughest triathlon races around he world. The 70.3 course, aptly and endearingly named as “The Beast”, is equally balanced out by “The Beauty” that our community and its courses have to offer visiting athletes and their support team members. We continually work hard to find new opportunities to promote our sponsoring partners throughout the year, and have already begun on our planning for the 2014 season. We will be in touch with you in a few weeks to discuss this so as to allow you to plan it into your budgets.

We were overwhelmed by the support for Christine’s Place during our recent fundraiser dinner on November 15th. Thanks to you and your organization, the efforts to provide support to women in crisis pregnancies in Huntsville will continue to expand in Huntsville. Over the past three years of operation, 140 clients have been assisted. Currently numerous support systems are being implemented at Christine’s Place to provide clients with opportunities for personal growth. The vision to make an impact on young lives and empower them has led Christine’s Place to embark on a new venture in the public school system to educate youth about their incredible value as human beings.
