All-New Hyundai IONIQ

The IONIQ doesn’t have only one powertrain available, it has three. This means three different ways to customize your commitment to higher fuel efficiency and conscientious driving. The true Hybrid model combines a 1.6L gas direct-injection engine with a 32kW electric motor and a 1.56 kWh lithium-battery for a total output of 139-hp and 195lb-ft torque. It has a combined best-in-class fuel efficiency of 4.1L/100km, so you can go over 1000 km on a single tank. The IONIQ electric model has a 88 kW electric motor that is powered by a 28kWh lithium-ion battery, for a total range of 200 km per charge. Combining aspects of both the other options, the electric plus can work as a hybrid or run slowly on electrical power, giving up to 400 km on just the battery.

Advanced technology

Right away the 7-inch touch-screen display connects the entirety of the IONIQ. Standard Smartphone Capability and Bluetooth hands-free lets you focus on what’s important, driving, while still having the ability to use your phone. SiriusXM capability also comes standard. Don’t worry about hearing everything in high quality, the IONIQ’s frame has been engineered to reduce noise and vibration levels. For comfort enjoy the standard automatic climate control and heated front seats.

Every detail in the Hyundai IONIQ has been designed for precision and efficiency. With a class leading drag coefficient of 0.24, the IONIQ is brilliantly aerodynamic. Each contour, groove and feature placement has been chosen to maximize attractiveness. The hybrid model features the hexagonal grille, while the electric model is just a smooth surface with no need to cool the powertrain. The LED tail lights use less electricity while providing greater illumination. The interior is spacious and pulls distinct complementary colours for a distinct design. There is ample space with 60/40 split fold seats.
